You have questions, we have answers...
Do I need woodworking experience to attend a workshop?
Nope. Our workshop is designed for everyone. Even if you have never touched a power tool before, we will help everyone feel safe and comfortable performing the tasks involved in the workshop.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing and close-toed shoes are definitely recommended. Loose or baggy clothing should be avoided and long hair should be tied back. Also, it is a good idea to wear clothing that you don't mind getting a little dirty, because you are probably going to get a little dirty.
Where should I park?
Parking is readily available at our shop. The marked spaces in front of the building are reserved for the other businesses in the building, so please refrain from parking in any of those. There is a large open area at the east end of the building which is available for parking, please park against the cinder block wall. If that is full there is plenty of street parking, as well.
What about lunch?
We’ll take an hour long break around 12:00pm. There are two restaurants within walking distance, Industrial Eats and Figueroa Mountain Brewing. There are also plenty more within a short drive, El Sitio, California Tacos, and The Habit just to name a few. Of course, you are also welcome to bring a lunch and eat it in the shop.
Will there be other people in the workshop with us?
Nope. These workshops are scheduled by group, so the only participants will be people that signed up together.
Can I schedule a workshop as a gift?
Sure! Just be sure to add a note in the "additional information" section.
I reserved a workshop date but can’t make it anymore. What is your refund policy?
If you can no longer attend a workshop, please email us at least one week prior to the day of the workshop for a full refund. All workshop fees can also be transferred to another workshop date.
Am I going to have fun?
I have another question that wasn't answered here. What should I do?
